Dynamical Systems and Related Topics Workshop

March 21-24 (Saturday-Tuesday), 1998
Department of Mathematics
University of Maryland, College Park

This workshop is hosted each spring by the University of Maryland and each fall by Penn State University, and jointly sponsored by the two institutions. The Spring 1998 workshop is partially supported by the University of Maryland Institute for Physical Science and Technology and the National Science Foundation.

Meeting Program

A workshop on symbolic dynamics, organized by Mike Boyle, will be held March 19-20 (Thursday-Friday) before the meeting. Also, the Mathematics Department Colloquium on Friday March 20 at 3pm will be given by Yakov Sinai. The meeting will formally begin on the morning of Saturday March 21 and end by 1pm Tuesday March 24. There will be a party Friday evening at Mike Boyle's house, and a reception following Sunday's talks.
