Dynamical Systems and Related Topics Workshop

This workshop is hosted each spring by the University of Maryland and each fall by Penn State University, and jointly sponsored by the two institutions. The Spring 1997 workshop is partially supported by the University of Maryland Institute for Physical Science and Technology and the National Science Foundation.


The meeting will start at 9am on Saturday April 26 and end at 1pm on Tuesday April 29. In addition, on Friday April 25 at 3:00pm, John Milnor will give the colloquium in the Department of Mathematics. There will be parties on Friday evening at Mike Boyle's house and on Saturday evening at Michael Jakobson's house for all conference participants.

WEATHER UPDATE: Normal temperatures at this time of year are high 70 degrees and low 50 degrees. The current forecast is for dry weather and temperatures 5-10 degrees below normal this weekend. Regrettably, rain is currently forecast for Monday.
